My name is Brian Pirrip and I’m an avid collector and content creator.

Why do card shops still sell what are essentially the same supplies from the 80’s?

Why are valuable cards still kept in cheap, flimsy plastic?

With advancements in design, materials, and technology enhancing various aspects of our
lives, shouldn't The Hobby follow suit?

It’s time to give our cards the dignity they deserve.

Reimagining the ideal card case from the ground up

I compiled a list of elements that would both protect and elevate the cards while eliminating all detractors.

My aim was to shift focus back to the cards themselves by eliminating unsightly and distracting “flips”, while implementing vital protective measures using improved materials instead of basic plastics.

I am also determined to take a firm stance to defeat counterfeiters once and for all.

I focused on form, function, and integrity

Investing everything I had, I founded M1NT, a company dedicated to "Premium Archival, Protection and Display of Collectibles.”

M1NT joined forces with world-class design and engineering talent to revolutionize every aspect of collectible display and protection.

We then got to work

Turning concept into reality

Our initial prototype experimented with glass and steel.

Though rudimentary, it brought our initial ideas to life.

We aimed to replace two pieces of plastic with high-grade materials to encase each card.

A giant leap forward

Achieving true archival protection for collectibles is a deceptively intricate process.

After a year of rigorous testing and engineering, we proudly completed our second major prototype.

Employing cutting-edge mechanical engineering, we incorporated numerous high-grade components into a compact space, reminiscent of a precision timepiece.

Innovations included patented anti-counterfeiting technology and the use of chemically inert materials to safeguard valuable cards.

No detail was too small

Experiencing the case visually is one thing, but holding it is an entirely different experience.

Our third prototype prioritized fit and finish, imparting a sense of gravitas to the card.

Once fully encapsulated with all components, the weight and premium feel exceeded our expectations.

We went back to the drawing board, meticulously refining every design detail to create a product that excelled in both functionality and aesthetics.

With the addition of new iridescent glass technology and a polished steel chamfered bezel, we achieved a perfect blend of form and function.

Crafted from over 20 premium components, including stainless steel, sapphire glass, and Tru Vue color-enhancing acrylic, and equipped with full UV protection, IPx ratings, RFID chips, tamper-evident safeguards, and powerful anti-counterfeit measures to triumph over dishonest counterfeiters.
